Default Alignment expert ......Toe spec

I remembered some ppl said " 1/8 degree of total toe out in front and zero degree of toe in rear " can help the car rotate better.....

Also, someone said using " Max toe out within spec in front and zero toe in rear " can help too......

My first question is: Which setting has MORE toe out? 1/8 total or Max within spec ??

Second, I've the Honda service manual as well as a print out from someone's alignment in front of me but I just can't figure out.

Standard .................( New )
In the manual Total toe (front) : 0 +/- 2 ..................... (0+/- 0.08)

Specified ..................... Range
From the print out Total toe (front): -0.16* ....................... 0.16*
* = degree

Are those number equal to each others ??
I want to make sure I got the right alignment setting.......Thanks for your help

Oscar
