Default ABS

what are the pros and cons of removing abs? I hear some people like to diable it during track events. Why?

Only thing I can think of is that the tires would lock up, making it easier to pendulum using LFB.

No reason to disable the ABS on the R. It's got one of the best systems in the business. You'll have longer braking distances and less car control without it. Leave well enough alone, it's not gonna help you at all to remove it!

abs kicks serious ***, for some racing it can giver the driver a unfair advantage. Thats why its is removed in such cars as the real time R's

yeah you can even really tell it is there compared to some of the more primative systems, like those on american cars where they have half second delays btwn grip. I would NOT diable them if I had the choice.

There is no reason to do it other than to give yourself an artificial feeling of being hard core.

The Type-R's ABS system is amazing - on a recent SCC test it beat a 360 Modena Ferrari.

The RealTime guys removed it because they had to.

How much difference is there between the GSR ABS and the R ABS? I've never tried the ABS on the R's that I was driving...

I wanted to disable my ABS or I will sell my DC2. My ABS comes on under light to medium breaking in straights and round corners. I had a fault ABS sensor which came up under the fault codes but this problem continues even after having it replaced.

I think my faulty sensor was damaged when my TEIN suspension was fitted but that's been replaced and I've even tried fitting back the original suspension only to find the the problem still exists.
I took it back to Honda and they said is normal, and they can make it better What can I do..... sell the car
