I'm confused. Your R hasn't been found right? Your saying this as in if your car is found?

the car has been recovered. i was wondering what i would have to do if i wanted to keep my stripped shell.

when my previous car was totalled, i had an appraiser figure out the value of my car. once they gave me that price, i spoke with my insurance company and asked the buy back value of the car (if you want to keep the shell). Once they give you that price you can figure out if it's worth it or not to you. If it is, they will give you a check for the difference of the value of the car, and the buy back value.

So your first post on honda-tech is bumping a two-year old thread asking for the status of a stolen car?

Here you go let me tell you..THat has to be inside job!! due to every performance shop has insurance and security and they are liable for anything that is stolen from inside like you agreed for them to fix your car or whatever there for they are liable for the car .Their insurance covers probably anything that happens within their business . If i were you i would look into it really hard how many cars got stolen from that shop or was it just your R!! i am sure somebody has answers .. thats why i say to all R owners gps kill switches (well dont help much if you dont have ) gps tracking or lojack on the car .If you going to invest 1000's into the type R what is 750-850 for a lo jack system and your safe!!

LIke i said look into the shop history . what state this happen in ?? also what kind of shop is it .is it a shopp or somebody just opened a garage big difference in lawsuit!!!

But i am sure that shop owner is liable for it!
