will o2 sensor make
okay i bought a da stock motor minus turbo. there is no o2 sensor on the car how will this make the car run..the car does run like crap but i was wondering if this is the cause. the guy i bought it from said its a turbo car it doesnt need an o2 which sounded like a rather stupid remark, someone chime in on this. the car seems to lag and run very rich. like i smell like gas when i get out of the car.so can the o2 sensor cause this?
is there a place to plug an o2 sensor in at.....and is there a spot to put one in the exhaust?...
**an o2 sensor measures the o2 and co2 ratio in the exhaust..telling the computer if the car is running too lean or rich...which the computer in turn determains how much fuel to inject by also calculating the amount of air going through the throttle body from the MAP sensor***
If there is a place to plug one into and put it in the exhaust pipe i deff would...that could most likely be why your running rich...
also check your MAP sensor..if that is bad it could be telling your computer its passing more air then it actually is...it would make it run rich too... but i think the o2 sensor is your problem

i cant find the wiring that comes from the harness to the o2 sensor so im gonna run it back to the ecu. the last idiot who had this car thought things could just be taken out like that. what pins on the ecu does the o2 sensor run off of?thanks for replies
