Default Width of Comptech Icebox?

What is the width of the comptech Icebox? I want to know if I can shoehorn a K&N RF-1048 filter in there. Here is a pic of the measurement I need.

I apologize if you were genuinely trying to help, but.....

....seeing as how you have a 6 month old account with 1,877 posts already....it seems as if you are post whoring.

Even if he was postwhoring, which he wasn't, he sent you a page with the dimensions, no need to be so harsh.

I measured my box and it was 6 inches, but the nut from the holders on both sides were pushing the sides in towards the middle when you tighten them down. When I loosened them it was 6.5 inches..

Thx for measuring. About 6.5 inches huh....Do you think the icebox can be adjusted to fit 7" wide filter?
