So I just recently got in a front end accident. My driverside frame got pushed back pretty bad. I plan to convert to a jdm front since the whole front is gone anyways, so I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good frame shops to pull my frame?
I live in the garden grove area btw.
Thanks for any input
I'll post up pics of later.
this is the car before I started to take crap off

now this is it after some stuff came off

yeah see I've been told otherwise. There's this guy that can pull my frame back to working condition. the jdm front comes with radiator, ac condensor, and the other metal crap. so he says he'll weld it on and it would look clean on the outside...but once you pop open the hood you can tell it's been in an accident.
There's no saving that part, but at least the car will be running. So I don't know...whether I should do that or not.
I've had two choices: go to a cheap frame shop and have it done for 300-500 and have some guy install jdm front for 200.
OR have the same guy doing the frame, install the front end as well for about 1500....
but at the same time, I think it's best to have the same person pulling the frame to install the jdm front since he know's how to align everything.
Sorry for the long post, but what do you guys think?

but, if bodyshop can do it, i'd give them a try.

yeah I'll give it a try, I'll keep this post updated. I'm getting my jdm front in a few days from spoka
great guy so far. hope everything turns out good.
as for the whole installation and frame pulling, it's going to cost about 1300
plus my axle is broken and I need to get some tires cause I'm sitting on two spares right now.

hmm post up pics and tell me how the job goes. As for me, I'm picking up my jdm front tomorrow, and I think my frame is pretty bad.
But tell me how the shop goes, when are you getting the job done?

If that was my car i would get a whole JDM front clip. And do a whole jdm rhd conversion. I seen them with out motor, headlights bumper & support, fenders for 500 bucks. That is me. Might cost you a lil more but that would be pimp.

I already thought about it.
Some guy was selling the whole front clip with itr red recaros, front and back for about 4200?
but the install would have been another arm.
I'm already down on money enough. I was actually going to go rhd for a while, but when I really thought about it would have cost more in the end.
Well so far I just bought my jdm front, it's a nice blue color ^^. So now my car will be nbp and some blue for now
I'll post up pics of the jdm front soon. Bought it from Spoka
for a good deal might I add.

a good frame guy can fix the car to where you can't tell its ever been wrecked. all of the frame parts can be bought from acura. check out this link.

yeah I just checked it out. but I thught if you replace the bulk head, you'd have to take out the engine because it's connected to the panels and stuff.
well but anyways, I'll see how the job is going to be done. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow and getting it pulled.
Hoping for a job well done, pray for me guys.

im in the same situation just like urs but the car with lighter damage on the front.
i was deciding what to do whether let shop do all the work or find shop who can do jdm front and pulling the frame for the best price. well i am still deciding, but hoping everything turns out good.
good luck

you might have to remove the engine depending on what pieces need to be replaced. i would highly recommend getting this done the correct way, getting the framework done halfassed is going to kill the value of the car. you're better off finding another shell to swap the motor to than to do a shitty job of repairing this car.

with framework you usually get what you pay for. the cheapest guy will definitely NOT be the best, i can garauntee that. there are people out there do will do some really shitty work for a few bucks.

yeah I know, I have some trust in this guy though. He did a lot of work for my other friends. He's sort of...a friend's friend. He's really generous, but his price isn't. My friend cost me an arm, and he's costing a leg
But I think that he will do quite a good job.
He's picking up the car today, I will post up pics of the job asap!
Wish him luck guys.

if it's easily visible that the car has been wrecked before then it's not a "good job."

hmm you're right. we will have to see! picking it up in an hour. I'll take pics of my front end he'll be putting on and post it up. It's a nice blue color (ran out of black)
but oh well, it will have to do.
but vladd, the thing is I really don't have a lot of time before school starts. So I need to get my car running so I have a ride to school and work. Right now I take the bus to work and school...so it's not so great. I really would like to take the time and take everything apart to properly fix it.
but for sure, I will post up pics after the job and you can criticize me all you want about it

okay so car is dropped off at shop and so is my front end.
now I have a few questions!
can anyone point me to where I can get containers for the fluids (power steering, brake, etc) that are in the driverside section. this will be my homework in the meantime while my car is in the shop.
thanks in advanced

yeah they should be be able to fit on.
I got a jdm ac condensor and radiator as well but I don't think the tubing fits to the usdm one, or perhaps even the bolts fit or not...but I'm not sure, can someone correct me if I'm wrong?
