Im about to swap my 96 gsr intake manifold to an aebs one and I had a question. The cars obd2 and there is this dumb looking sensor straight on top of the manifold that has Two hoses connected to it. What the hell is it and do I have to use it? im guessing it has something to do with recycling air but I dont know.
I know I should have stayed with obd1 oh well

 

whatever its for it must not be for much. if you unplug it, it wont throw a check engine light

 

it's for the evap system (emissions)

 

It's the EVAP system and you should gut the whole darn thing and run a catch can.
