aight first pic is the pcv valve right....
well what goes to the hole circled in the second pic ........ mine has something broke off in it .. and does it need a hose and if so where would it go

It goes the the Breather Box in the Back of the Block under the oil filter. 98+ dont have it. Or need it for some reason.

take that screw out of the hose so that ur valve cover can vent

on my LS (95 LS with 99 LS Engine), the PCV valve is hooked up straight to the intake manifold. so yeah, i'll do what he said... take that screw out and hook up the hose to your intake manifold.

pics arent of my car .. mine has the pcv valve only nothign screwed in it or any hose or anyhting ... so im gonna pick a hose up today and put one on it ... but do i need to hook up the other thign that runs to the breather box thing

you do not have to run it through that hole to get it to the breather you can run between the intake runners

so all i gotta do is run a hose from my pcv valve and to the nipple on top of the intake manifold ... but i still dont understand whats suppossed to go in that hole or where exactly its suppossed to run to ... do any of you have a pic or maybe find me a pic of where its suppossed to run ... cause in my hole it looks like it had somethign in it like a pcv valve type thing but its broke off in the hole ..

96 and up have the pcv on the vavle cover and 95 and down have the pcv in that hole on the intake manifold and it hook up to the black box behind the motor

well mines a 95 ls and it has the pcv valve in the same spot as the picture but then also has something in that hole and on the bottom side has a tube or something couldnt see it but could feel it .. so is my car a 95 just with a 96+ valve cover or what cause its a b18b1 with the same vc as the first pic

look on the head it will tell you what year it is it properly a 95 with a 96 and up vavle cover run a hose to the pcv to the black box in the back of the block

hi sorry to cut in but i have a problem like yours but its worse when i got the car the nipple from the intake was blocked off and that caused the car to have very low idle so i took it off and then the the idle was far too high so i put a pipe from the intake to the tappet cover it takes the idle down but its still to high and then the intake gets oil and and and the list gos on, i found the other valve that you guys are talking about and i put the pipe to that and it worked like a bomb, great idle and performance now my car just wants to run away with me untill she gets hot then it seems that valve seizes and blocks and the low idle thing starts and to top it off when i stop at the robot the idle drops so quick she cuts out, do i change that valve? where do i get it from or is there something better to do

1995...... is it only on obd2? i just checked my friends 2001 and it has it up there

SAME HERE MINE RUNS FROM INTAKE, DOWN THRU THAT BACK HOLE INTO BREATHER BOX THEN ANOTHER HOSE FROM IT TO THE LOWER PART OF MY HEAD ANWAY TO BYPASS THE BOX , CAUSE PRE OWNER HAD BROKE THE CONNECTER ENDS TO THE BOX AND JIMMIRIGGED SOME CRAZINESS AND WAS CAUSING SOME ODD IDLE!

Hey, been trying to figure out my pcv hose recently too, was wondering if anyone knows if you could buy the part number 3 in this diagram, the hoses on my engine are dry and almost impossible to get off, just trying to know if i can get the part in case it breaks, thank you
