from my understanding 2001 come with OBD III, my friend has it and its a nightmare, if he drives his car hard it immediately throws a CEL and drops his rev-limiter to 5k

 

Jesus Christ stop bashing the **** outta this kid. If he cant drive, he cant drive as of now, so he'll get better. Im sure you werent all ******* great drivers as soon as you hopped into your car. Also, people are right, you might have a US motor, which is unfortunate cuz the Jap ones are def better. My advice is go somewhere in your town where is secluded and no one would hassle you and just rip it up and down a few runs, alos get to know your clutch and how you shift. IE when I first got my car I used to always grind 2nd., but I practiced and realized I didnt have to jam the **** outta it to get it in gear. So my advice is to just practice and have fun with your car.
