Im thinking my overheating problem might be my waterpump. How can I check if its bad? If I pull it out, what do I look for? Does anyone have a picture of a bad water pump?

 

taking it out wont show u if its bad unless it has hella busted up. Why dont you check the thomostat 1st to see if it opens up. I dont rember the temp off hand but it should open up in boiling water. If it doesnt thats your prob. I'm not sure how to check the pump's flow. Even a worn pump will flow somewhat so juss looking at the radiator with the cap off might no help. In general if its not the thomostat or a blown gasket its the waterpump.
