Default 1990 Integra Over Heating Issue

Today for the first time in months my car started to over heat, it has a new radiator, new coolant, new thermostat, fan is always on. The only other possibility i can think would cause the car to over heat would be a faulty water pump. Is there any other options? Is there a way to test the water pump to see if its good prior to actually having to replace it along with the timing belt? Any input would be helpful.

No. Its your water pump. The only way to check your water pump, is to pull it off.

its not your water pump if u dont see any leaks and if u dont hear anything...water pumps just dont stop working, u will hear it if it does. the reason why i say leaks is because it could be the water pump seal that has gon bad. you could have a thermostat stuck close or a very small leak in one of the radiator hoses, heater hose or the radiator itself

If there is no loss of coolant, I would check the thermostat, [remove it], if overheating still occurs, replace the water pump.

Rad fan should not be running all the time, so I assume it has been rewired, is it running in the right direction? 94
