What exactly does a Vtec controller do? And i've heard rumors that they can hurt the engine, is that true? What are the pros and cons of having one?

 

basically does is adjust your air/fuel, hi/lo low/hi cams, wide/narrow throttle boby, vtec engagement, etc. Works good if tune correctly. Causes problem if not dyno tune and tune blindly. I'd suggest u go with the Apexi VAFC for the money. If low budget get the Field good luck thats my 2¢
