its a vtec controller that lets you change the vtec piont and also change the fuel curves of the vehicle if used on a dyno to see what settings works the best

 

so if u got no vtec then you dont need it?

 

technically, it's Vtec Air Flow Converter. but it is a fuel tuning controller as well.

thrillhouse, if you don't have a vtec motor, it's no use for you. the equivalent for non-vtec would be the s-afc as a fuel tuning controller.

yeah i kinda thought so, wasn't being dick or anything just funny how you asked.

 

but if you don't have vtec you can still gain quite a bit of tuning power using an S-AFC (like the VAFC but no VTEC functionality).

but then you can still get the S-afc like the above guy mention if you don't have vtec. Basically same thing adjust fuel curves but without vtec adjustment.

 

If you have a Non-Vtec motor with a good amount of mods, the SAFC will do very well for you. You can gain and free up a very good amount of power with tuning with the SAFC...

You just have to set your VAFC or SAFC to the initial settings when you goto the Sniffer test...
