how much horsepower would i be lookin to gain with an Apexi controller? i have a AEM short ram, dc header and apexi catback? is this worth the investment for $250

 

not alot unless your boosting. i dont really see y u would need one other than that

 

you do not need a vtec controller. save that money for gas.

 

With tuning the fuel curve a bit, you might see 5-8whp...ofcourse thats tuning on the dyno with a wideband that would run another $150.

 

Had a VC on my Prelude a while back and just ended up selling it 8 months later. Honestly it didnt do much. It does look really kool mounted into your dash though!!!

 

If you hook it up and don't tune anything.....then no, it wont do crap. If you blind tune it, you'll either lose power or blow the motor.....woot woot.

 

i have the 1st controller on my gsr and i got it tuned by p1 auto and there is a little difference not enough to say like DAMN but still i have a skunk2 intake mani, with header, and full exhuast. ive been told if i were to get cams and etc. then it would help alot more. oh and u can get one cheaper than 250

 

yeah dude...dont pay 250..that would be a rip...i got mine for 100 ...vafc2...honda-tech it...marketplace
