visual differnce between b18 and b16?
i know this is kinda a retarded question, but what is the differnce between teh b18 and the b16. i know the stats and the displacement, ect. but how do you look at the two and know the differnce? tahnks
b18 what? a? c?
look down on the block, left side of the header.. all honda motor have a letter and numbers on em that look like "b18c1" b18c5, b18a ect...

if ur talking about b18c1 and b16a's... then first thing i'd look at is the intake manifold....
if they are stock... the b16 has the single runner, where TB is positioned up higher than gsr's butterfly mani
then i guess the next thing i'd do is look on the block for the engine code!

Id have to agree... the easiest way to tell is to look at what is stamped on the block itself.

You cant always stick your head in someones bay. Knowing the differences on the head is more accurate just in case they have a frankenstein.
