Default b16 block to a b18

if I get a b16a sir2 block and use b18 rods will it thus become a 1.8?

I know its kinda a dumb question, but I mean is the stroke the ONLY thing that differs the blocks.

Actually think about your question. B18= 1.8L engine. B16=1.6L engine. Get it?
The cylinder is larger.

nope sorry.

b16 borexstroke 81.0 x 77.4 mm 1595 cc
b18 borexstroke 81.0 x 87.2 mm 1797 cc

edit:
and the block height is different b16 @ 263mm and the b18 @ 270mm
but I meant as far as swapping a b16 block under my b18 head, I don't feel like being down while installed new bottom end, so I wana get an extra block and build it up.
