Default is the vigor motor inline 5?

I am lookin into puttin a bigger motor into my teg. Unlike the f20b and the h22, i want to be original. I think it is the c25 vigor motor. Is it inline or v? I was told that it was DOHC but i dont know

I don't mean to be disrespectful at all. As a matter of fact, I admire the fact that you want to do something different.

But I think if your going to swap motors, and you still want to be different. And seeing as how the c25 is going to be a total custom swap (no one would make mounts or engine harnesses for a swap like that) then swap an engine in that is both worth mention and worth the money and time.

Like swap in a 2JZ-GTTE (93-98 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo Engine). It would be absolute hell to get it in there, but once it's in and working. It'll definetely be worth mention.

Or swap in like a RB26DETT (98-02 Nissan Skyline Twin Turbo Engine) or an SR20DET (Nissan Silvia 2.0L Turbo engine).

Of all those choices it'd be completely custom, not done before, and you'd even have the challenge of having to make it either rear wheel drive or if you are up to the challenge all-wheel drive (in the case of the RB26DETT).

You can always check wikipedia for Honda engine information, though it doesn't always have everything, you can certainly always add what isn't there for the next person looking for information.

Wikiepdia page on the Vigor
It looks like there is no easy way to get it to work, as it is not a transverse engine mounting like our Integras, but a longitudinal orientation, even though it is still FWD.

i think that it would not be that hard. Fabricating motor mounts are easy with a cherry picker, some1/4 in steal, and a set of OEM mounts off a teg. Remove all of the suspension, drop it in, put in the trans, remove the suspension from the Vigor and bolt it in the teg, probably a lot of new holes and ****. it would be a full swap, basically take the entire front clip. i am not sure about the clutch/hydrolic stuff, but i dont think that it is take much more work than an H in a DA9.

Like I said, if your willing to do all the custom work, why not make it freakishly custom?

Its not the greatest Engine (From experience)

Also finding performance parts for it gonna be hell.

Just take those 2 points into consideration.

I like the body lines of an Integra, and if I had the money I'd put a Skyline RB26DETT engine and all-wheel drivetrain into my Integra...
