Default ignition timing / compression test

what is the best base ignition timing set to for 98 gsr mods: header, 2.5 catback exhaust , short ram.

what is good compression test lbs reading on internally stock 98gsr

stock ignition is 16 degrees, you can advance 2 degrees to 18

on the compression test, you dunt want less than 210 across the board

Isn't 210 a bit on the high side for a motor with stock compression?

well i guess it does depend but ive had GSRs rebuilt with 210-220 across the board, anything less seems to be from valve seals or piston rings
