Default TWM shifter

Who was it that was going to get this shifter? Is it a good shifter? I need to get one, but I'm not sure which one to get. Either B&M, Neuspeed, or this one.

I forget who. It was the guy with the monkey for his avatar.

IMO, I'd get this one. No one has it and it claims to have a shorter throw than any of them.

If I was in the market for a short shifter they whould be my first choice.

camparing them to all the others this one just seems to be better to me.

The TWM shifter almost seems a little TOO short. At 3" lower than stock, you'd hardly even see any shift lever at all. The "classic" version seems a little more reasonable. Just my opinion.

I don't want to see the shift lever. I just want the **** sticking out. But the thing I don't really like is the single bend. That means it will lean towards me in Neutral, right? Does anyone have a pic of what a single bend looks like in Neutral?

I just installed mine, and it is way short. Just the **** sticks out of the boot, and it leans down and toward you in neutral. I'm not used to it quite yet, but keep in mind it doesn't retain the 2 bend integra shifter design. The 1st-2nd shift requires the most precision (I've had it in the car for less than 24 hrs), but if you're not carefull, it's easy to grind. My integra had a..... ugh, Tenzo (not that I'm proud) shifter in it, and I can say that I like that one better so far, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I'll go down and take some pictures in a sec, so you can understand how short this shifter actually is.

Edit: TerribleOne, sorry dude, I beat you to the write up , here it is fellas:

maybe I'm the only one here who likes a taller shifter.

you can reduce the throw by changing the bottom bearing location (there's a limit since the exhaust is down there).

That shifter kind of looks like it sucks. If it is really that hard to shift, what would be a better shifter with a shorter height and throw?

Yea I have been wondering about this shifter as well. I almost got one earlier this summer but when I asked for a review from H-T members I got points taken away

I gave up and said F a short shifter. It looks really nice though.

? I was just trying to help people out. It's not like I'm trying to earn credit by "stealing this guy's thunder". He can add what he likes to what I already posted, which means H-T gets even more info. I drove my car around all night with the shifter, and honestly, I don't think I like it. If I take it all the way up, and shift 1-2, or 3-4 as if I were at the track, it just grinds. So far, I think this product suxors. Maybe he'll have better luck.
