Default Tuning Software/Program Preferences.

Ok, so I've heard a lot about some tuning programs and I'm just trying to increase my knowledge to the pros/cons of all the different tuning setups.

I'm curious what you all using in your vehicles and why you use this setup, whether it be hondata, uberdata, etc.. I just want to know what and why
everyone is using what they are.

Thanks in advance (I also had no luck searching this topic out).

I saw the uberdata website which looks easy enough. Just wondering what others thought.

i'm using AEM EMS, true standalone with TONS of support and downloads. this **** is always updated and they've got a forum where questions are always asked and answered.

the most recent firmware right now is v1.11 which i just upgraded to and man, there's so many options...it's freaken amazing what you can do on the EMS. it's not as cheap as uberdata, chrome, hondata, etc...but you damn sure get your money's worth.

I was actually looking at uberdata. Would you recommend the AEM over that? And I don't know anything about chrome, can someone enlighten me??

I've got a gsr with a drag3 kit and I'm needing a good EMS. If AEM is that much better then money really isn't an issue.

i use chrome. a simple chip install and you can do tuning from your stock ecu.

nothing fancy, but does the job

I agree with Shermanyang, AEM EMS's software is sweet. I used the GReddy Emanage support tool which is also good. It's not quite as user friendly, but it gets the job done.

I guess part of my question is based on the fact that my teg is turbocharged. Would that change anyone's opinion?

And can someone tell me more about chrome or give me a website that I can read about it on. So far, I've heard a lot about uberdata, which seems like it would be my program of choice.
