transaxle/nut removal problems
i can't get my transaxle nut off, front left. I tried using a 2' breaker w/ a 2' pipe on it with
225lbs sitting on it. tried heat, pb blast..one quick thing is, it is counter clockwise right?
and do i need that off to pull the axles out of the tranny?
thanks

so it is clockwise?
in the service manual it shows the guy turning it counter?
i might just have to put the wheels on and take it to a shop to use an air gun
but every is all rwady disconnected..

I don't get how ppl can't get it off
if its installed correctly, then there should be no problem
make sure to torque it properly, and to stake the nut
only time ive had problem with getting that nut off is when someone else cross threaded the nut by using air tools to put it on.

When i changed the axles on my DA, the nuts were on so damn tight. I tried everything! Since my new replacement axles came with new nuts, i just drilled 1 line in the nut and split it, then removed it
