Default Tools for Coilover/Shock Install

I'm planning on buying Ground-Controls and AGX's probably in the middle of January(would've had them by now if I didn't have to do the whole Christmas shopping thing), and need to know what tools I need to get it done. I already have a socket set and flared-nut wrench's(helped a ton when doing the fuel filter). Any other tools needed to do this? Also are there any special concerns/cautions I should take when doing it?

Keep this mind. You need to use a spring compressor, with out the proper tools, you may get hurt or even killed. It's better to have a shop do it. Also remember to use a camber kit if you are lowering the car.

Regards & Good luck.

you dont need a spring compressor for coil-overs.

the whole thing about being careful with spring compressors, yea listen to him, my friend uses it alot, and just one time, it sliped and smacked him in the head and he had to get stiches

Done suspension twice and never used a spring compressor. An air compressor and air tools on the other hand did come in handy

Where did you pick up the air tools and about how much did they cost you? Thanks everyone for the responses.

Had an old *** impact wrench and my dad's old school heavy duty air compressor If I were you I'd check out Sears right now, since its Christmas season a lot of their tools are on sale.... but off the top of my head I couldn't really give you good price estimates. Only reason I needed the impact wrench was because I was re-using my stock shocks, other wise you can just unbolt and pull out the whole assembly and put the new coilover/shock combo in.
