check engine light came on..checked it, code p1259..."bad air fuel mix"

cleared the code, hasn't come back in about a month...i was a little worried tho cuz I have a slight sputtering at low revs in 1st and sometimes 2nd gear...also gas mileage isn't that great, im getting about 24-25 mpg with daily driving (no racing). Also car will jerk and sputter if I try to accelerate below 3k.

anyone know what the problem might be? Any thoughts are appreciated!

 

I show P1259 for VTEC, not AFR, what about you other guys. Search the archives for this code and VTEC probs.

Do you have a voltmeter (multimeter) to test if the solenoid or pressure switch is working, how is your oil level and viscosity, have you taken the items apart for cleaning before.

 

oil is new and viscous....haven't gotten a chance to take a multimeter to the solenoid yet....everything is clean tho, took everything apart a couple of days ago and still having the same problems

still no check engine light tho
