Default gsr code 22

this is a repost (i also posted in the eg forum but i thought that maybe u teggy guys would be able to help out as well)

i have a 95civ coupe with a jdm b18c in it and ever since i had the swap done, the engine light has been on. When i tested it, the light gave 2 solid flashes and 2 quick flashes, which i believe is code 22 right? I searched on h-t about code 22 and figured out it was the vtec oil pressure switch. The thing i dont understand is that my vtec kicks in with no problem so i dont understand exactly what the problem is? Could it possibly be the ground, could it be dirty or what? I just thought that if i had code 22 that the vtec wouldnt even engage? any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance!

Default Re: gsr code 22 (EjCiViC)

I had the same issue, after 3500 miles I didn't check the oil and she was 1 3/4 low and the cell code 22 came up.

I'm not a machanic but from what I've been told is:
1. Check your oil
2. clean the metal screen for the vtec selonoid
3. Oil pressue switch is disconnected or bad
4. ECU pins outs

Hope it helps.
