Default Testing continuity on tps connection.. help

well im trying to figure out if my tps harness has a short somewhere maybe thats hwy it keeps throwing a code no matter how many times I replace the tps itself.

question is, with the connector off,

which two pins do i probe?

cause i probed the far right and far left which I believe are the Yellow/green and blk/green wires and that was the only spot I got a reading of like 2.00 or something.. no where else gets any continuity. the dvom stays at 1. (infin)

is this teh correct pins, and am i even testing the correct way? or do I test at ecu?

In order to test the continuity of the wire. Let say for example you are testing yellow/green wire. So you have to put one probe on one side and the other probe at the other end. You either hear if you have a digital or see the needle going across if you have a analog meter. If you don't hear or see any movement from the meter then you have a short somewhere.

hmm so do you mean .. lets say i test the green/yellow.. i probe it at the connector.... and then at the ecu? cuz that wud be the start - finish of that wire..
