TPS Code 7 problems
TPS - Code 7
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What would cause this? I've had it before and it only seems to come on occasionally and when really running the car hard. It came on in the middle of my run last night at the track. Why in the world do I have this re-occurring code? The TPS is calibrated properly and everything is properly installed. Could a possible nicked wire cause an unstable voltage(?) and make the ecu confused and throw the code? I'm just grabbing for straws here trying to figure this out. I thought it was all voltage regulated.

Welcome to the world of electronics...
Could be a cracked wire to a loss of ground. I would say the TPS is good but the wiring... Hmmm.
Hook up a DVOM and wiggle the wires around. and see if that is it. While you are there make sure there is not a flat spot while moving the throttle. move it slowly so you can see it.

I'll give it a shot and take a look. Thanks for the advice

Bringing this back up because I went to the track and still threw code 7- TPS. It always happens toward the end of the 3rd gear.
This time I changed my TPS to a different one, check my wires for cracks, checked the new and old TPS for dead spots (both ok), and made sure the new one was calibrated correctly. What else is going on? What would cause this to happen? I'm pretty clueless and am not sure where to look next.
