Super low IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor reading.
Any ideas what would cause my IAT's to be showing "-40F"?
I'm running a stock OBD-II ecu in my GSR, and reading the data with an Auto X Ray OBD scanner. I rebuilt the engine about 5 months ago and at first the IAT's were realistic. They were pretty relevant to the outside temp. and would slowly increase as the engine warmed up.
A few days ago I changed the timing belt because I accidently got a bit of oil on it, and immediately after, the IAT sensor decided I lived in Antarctica. I did reset the ECU, otherwise the car seems to be running stellar.
Any ideas? Possible bad sensor?

Re: Super low IAT (95 integra)
Tried what you said and the reading was the same. The lowest possible reading is -40F.
I checked continuity and the sensor is fine. Turns out the wire was broken for some reason. Replaced it and problem resolved.

Just wait until that snapped wire is the one running to your injector and you're like....wtf, why is my car running on 3 cylinders.
