Not worth it...claims of added Hp is allmsot complete BS. It is an improvement, but nto worth the cash they are charging for em. Go to a welding shop and pickup some 2 guage welder cable. I can get it here for 99cents CAD / ft. Much cheaper and will do the same as all this hyper bs.

People are skeptical about this..

I like em. If nothing else I noticed my lights get a little brighter and starting the car is easier. And I did it myself.

I bought some 8 gauge wire and ring connectors from http://www.ikesound.com and went to town. I replace the connection at my valve cover, transmission, battery terminal. I put a connection at my alternator, intake manifold, and lower block.

The difference between mine and the "Hyper Ground System" is they use a circular connector that all the grounds go to. This is supposed to be better but I'm not sure why.

So they can patent something and make money off it cause its different. I'm sure it allows for a better distribution of power, the the change in resistance will be infinitesimal...power gains will be even less (I mean due to the different connector).

You are right tho, it will make for smoother starting and your lights wont dim as much when bass hits. So I do recommend the upgrade, but not for the price some companies charge. Its like bending over and giving em the lube.

Hahaha!

I got enough wire and connectors to do three cars (My two friends and my car) and it cost me like 35 bucks or something. The problem I ran into is getting something to crimp the 8 gauge connectors.

Acutally I'll let you in on a secret I used when wiring up my stereo in my teg

I got a great deal on 2 guage, cept LOL, no one uses that low guage for stereos, so I couldnt even get connectors. Solution:

Took a copper pipe in a vise, cut a 1.5 inch length, flattened 1/2 end. Drilled a hole through the flat end. Holding the flat end in the vise (to keep it crimped) I heated the pipe up with a blow torch and filled it wil solder and just dipped my wires in. Massive soldering baby

I started out by looking at the HyperGround and saying that I could recreat it. I did, I liked the results, did some research, improved on it, now I sell them. See my sig.
I have no tests. What I can say, is that every car with ground upgrades has shown an improvement like: fuel mileage, off idle throttle response, low-mid power, brighter lights, radio reception, louder stereo... etc...
And yeah, I offer illustrated instructions with my kit...

it seems very nice, but for roughly 90 bucks you better show some kind of proof, or better pictures than th one on your site.

Yeah, I know, I haven't had a chance to get out to the dyno yet.
I won't say that you will make 10HP, but I will say that every car has seen enough of an improvement to feel the difference.
Here is a write up that one of my customers posted: Follow this

Guys....no sense in paying a fortune...ITS WIRE. Just get copper wire that can handle a decent ammount of current. as stated priviously, welder cable will work wonders. Hell a buddy of mine did it with 4 guage and noticed a big diff as far as lights and response.

You can get welder cable in 0, 1, 2 guage for dirt ******* cheap.

A while back I made my own kit from leftover stereo crap. I'll add pics as I find them. My ground kit does NOT stick out like a sore thumb! You actually have to look for it.

negative terminal has (2) 8gauge ports and a 0gauge battery to body connection.

8 gauge:
battery to Intake mani
Battery to fuel rail

4gauge:
battery to ground block mounted near the OEM filter box location.
body to tranny
stock valve cover cable (why? because I had the cable!!)

8gauge:
ground block to body
ground block to TB
ground block to VTEC solenoid
ground block to ENGINE harness ground point on the water thermo housing

I purposely avoided the alternator!
Cost: $25 in gold plated ring connectors because I have owned the extra wires for years.

Observed results:
Car started hella faster and the lights were brighter.

So, uh...why did you avoid the alternator?
Couple of tips:
Tie all points back to a common ground. Removes a lot of fluctuation in the system
Use these points: Valvecover, Tranny, throttle body, alternator housing, thermostat housing

Welding wire wouldn't be the best stuff actually, you'll get a lot more electrical noise.
I've done a lot of testing to make my kit the most efficient. Likewise with the connection points. So far, any car this has been installed on(BMW, Honda/Acura, Mazda, Subaru, and yeah...a Ford), has shown a noticeable, positive result...

I'm diggin the car by the way...

Noise??? We're talking about copper to flow large ammounts of currnt, not a Cat 5 or coxial signal cable.

Regardless my amps are powered with welding cable and there is no noise in the system from the power...signal noise will come from the signal cables to the amp (well anything noticible)

Car hesitates a little less. Lights dim less when the bass hits stuff like that.

Nothing as far as powergains from what I hear.

Yup, better throttle response, there actually is a power gain though it does vary from car to car, better fuel mileage. Some cars have shown phenominal fuel mileage gains, in the area of 10-15%. I've actually got a group of cars testing the mileage gain, will have solid numbers soon.
Everyone mentions better radio reception and low-end power.
But hey...believe what you want...

like you i have doubt if it works and would like proof, however i did find this write up on it for anyone who would like to read it.

http://www.seloc.net/modules.p...14459

i dont own a honda, i have a 1996 toyota 4runner 3.4 v6 with lots of mods

but my real toy is my 1970 chevy nova w/ small block under the hood, turns 11.90 with out the help of my 2 stage baby blue bottle..

like everyone else in the preformance auto world, i would like to save a buck or fifty, so if it does work and you can make your own, i would like to know

good luck and happy modding
