starting problems?
Hey guys, every now and again, in piticular since it got colder out, my 94 integra will just click instead of turning over. As if the battery was dead but its fine. Then I try it it a few times and it will always start eventually after maybe 6 trys. Any ideas as to what this may be? Thanks
Do you have a MSD box on your car? If so, check the wiring to the ignitor. Loose connections require more juice to fire the system.
If you don't have a MSD, then check your main relay, or fuel pump. Good luck.

Same thing has been happening to me recently. It will take a couple tries to start but it doesnt happen all the time. Also the car starts boggin when the happens when the engine actually turns on.

Right?? If so, the first thing you do is ignore all the people that say it's your distributor, coil, ignitor, fuelpump, whatever...
Problem is with the starter or it's circuit. Make sure battery connections are clean & tight. Make sure all your big ground wires are clean & tight.
Try hitting the starter with a broomhandle or something while trying. If that works, your starter is probably going out. Maybe you can clean the solenoid, maybe you just wanna get a new/rebuilt starter.
Get a voltmeter & measure across the battery posts themselves WHILE someone tries to crank. Post back with that, because depending on what it does, we'll have you check different stuff.
