when i start my 94 ls it starts up fine but the idlin is bad. starts up then goes to 1500rpm then down to 500rpm then 1000rpm. does anyone know the problem or have had this problem before?

 

check all your vacume lines. sounds like a vacume leak. hope this helps

I had that happen to me before, turned out to be an IAC valve.

got a pic of the IAV, sorry for being such a noob.

 

Have you tried adjusting your idle adjustment screw? What about trying to pull the gas pedal away from you while you're in the car.

 

Search for my idle post in the Accord form within the last 60 days for sure. I have a list of malfunctions for you to check. Search is always your first step but I will point the way this time.
