backfiring and idle problem

Default backfiring and idle problem

hey guys ive been having a problem with my Y8 ONLY when its hot outside i will have really bad backfires and sputtering when i let of the gas and my idle is really low. I am not throwing any codes and ive replaced the IAC plugs wires and still the same any suggestions?

did u check the plugs.. oil... just suggestions.... maybe something is over heating? check raditior and lines

did you do any major work on it? like maybe a sensor or anything?

no nothing major was done to it it just started acting up one day.

maybe a vaccume leak somewhere. I also thought timming untill I read your post, might be a good thing to check.

havent really checked O2 sensor since i have no code but will give it a shot. Timing should be checked within next couple weeks and il check my idle control screw. Any more suggestions?

but isnt the idle control screw not used once the car is up to operating temp? i dont know for sure...but i think i read this yesterday....
