have just changed the motor in a 1990 integra with fuel injection to a 1.5 sohc non vtec have not been able to get it to start. i think it has something to do with the distributor, any ideas?

which distributor and pcm are you using? and just to clarify, you have checked for spark?
i have checked for spark at the plugs and into the coil i dont know which distributor it has i think the problem is something to do with the coil

which pcm?
i'm not 100% on this, but i'm pretty sure, with non-obd, you can't use a dohc pr4 on a sohc pm6
if you're not getting spark, key on engine off, test for power at the blk/ylw tracer wire of the 2 pin distributor connector

checked it with the volt meter and the coils not giving spark but powers going into it so i think thats the problem
right so i put the new coil in and started it up and it sounded like it was dieing so i turned it off and tried to start it again it turned over but didnt start i checked the coil again and this ones blown. a bit of a set back taking the coil back to get checked for mechanical fault, but i think its not the problem any ideas ?

i'm not sure i understand. you said "checked the coil again and this ones blown"
but then you say you think it's not the problem?
but then you say you think it's not the problem?
sorry i know that the coil is blown but i think there is something else wrong that caused the coil to blow
