Bad distributor?
So the other day when I was driving the Rex, it was driving fine the all of a sudden it felt as if a major loss of power just happened and started to have a horrible misfire. Drove it home and starting checking. I took off the cap and noticed that the rotor inside the dizzy was very loose, changed it out but still no fix. Then I hooked up my timing light and to my suprise it seemed as if no spark was going to either cyl #1 or #4. Yes I know you're suppose to hook up the probe around spark plug wire #1. Cyl 3 and 4 seemed to be have regular spark when I hooked up the probe to them but why isn't 1 and 4 creating spark to often??
So far all I changed out is the cap and rotor. Any other suggestions?

The distributor can be tough to diagnose. More than likely it's the ignitor if it is the distributor at all. But there are several things that can go wrong with it.
I had to borrow a friends to make sure it wasn't my distributor.
