single cam into integra......lol
i have this guy that wants me to put a single cam out of a eg into his DA integra and i was wondering if it can be done and what mounts to use and what shiftlinkage.

It can be done, I don't know why anyone would want to, but it's possible. You would probably have to find mounts from like hasport or something. They probably make something for a d series into a da. As for the linkage, I think it should be pretty similar. Not positive though.

I don't see why it's a big deal to anyone, I put a D15B8 in the ITR that I had a few years ago.
Tell him to find a cable tranny and the car (along with the appropriate components). It's just like swapping a D in an EF.

I've seen it done.... and some guy told me his was imported. so I'm guessing Honda made some in single cam as well . Not sure but that's what I've heard and seen.

but hes asking about a DA integra...
you need Japanese ZXi or RSi mounts from a SOHC DA. they are rare and hard to come buy. Pretty sure HASPORT doesnt make SOHC mounts into a DA and EF ones don't work.
