k so new to the eg, doin a b swap and have a few questions, ive heard some people say u can use your mounts off your d series, i have also heard you cant can anyone verifie this? also i have three cable b trannys and no hydro so think it would be smarter to use a hydro to cable convertion, thinking of using the hasport kit has anyone used? would like a reveiw of it, heres a link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Haspo...Q5fAccessories
and lastly ive heard i had to use dc2 teggy shift linkage? since im going to be using a cable tranny would i need da linkages? i have a set of them and if theyd work id like to know. please help

You need dc2 mounts and the dc2 t-bracket. I got a nice set of billet hasport knock off mounts for $100 on ebay...they work great...but yeah i have heard rumors that you can use some of your stock d series mounts..not sure though.

I haven't heard of anyone using that conversion kit...why not sell some of you cable trannys and buy a hydro one? that would be so much easier in my opinion..


You have to have a dc2 linkage no matter what.

thanks for the info, ya ive been tring to sell but not alot of honda guys where i live and really dont wanna ship, prob just buy the ebay mounts and the hasport set up

u can use the d series tranny mount and drivers side motor mount but u need a b series t bracket which is the one in the back.

if i use the dc t bracket i can still use the fixed d mount on the chassis?

k so another question, after doing some research on the hydro to cable convertion i think im going to fab something up like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3yK4qNPFEU but when i do ive seen people saying the housings mounts are dif between the cable and hydro so didnt no if my d mounts would go onto my cable tranny, if not what would i use for a mount? a stock da tranny mount?
