Ok the engine is out and it is on a stand. We tried to remove the harmonic balancer but that pully is not stable nor can we get it too the point where the nut in the middle of it will beak loose. We need to remove it in order to redo the timing. Any suggestions?

You need a special tool to do it correctly I believe, atleast thats how I have always done it.

I have the tool, when we try to remove the nut, the pully turns. How can we keep that from turning?

you need a special tool or somehow ghetto lock the flywheel to keep the motor from turning while you try to break the bolt loose. 19mm is not a special tool.

Stick a big *** screwdriver in one of the flywheel teeth and hope it doesn't pop out

When I removed mine I had to use an impact rench.
