as stated above or
1. remove the flywheel lower cover to jam it
2. use an impact gun to remove the crank bolt without jamming the engine
3. use the honda special tool to remove it by hand

Well i tried removing the flywheel cover on the underside of the motor and couldnt figure how to wedge the flywheel other than thread a bolt in one of the 12mm holes there, that didnt work, after threading it, i spun it to where the bolt wedges against the bottom of the block and used my extensions and a big cheater on my breaker bar, i broke the tip of an extension and bent that bolt and still didnt get the crank bolt off! So far that 2 for 2, impact didnt work either, this isnt a backwards treaded job is it??

is the engine in the car still?

If so put it in gear and have a friend push on the brakes while you turn the bolt.

If its out of the car, either buy yourself a tool or make your own like me.

This ones not the one i made (cant find a pic of mine but this is the same as mine).

put a thick screwdriver in the crank pulley and put it against the chassis thats what i did and it worked...but i bent one skinny screwdriver and a drillbit before i found a thick enough screwdriver

Put in what part of the pulley, its solid aint it? I am confused.. My bro says i cant hydrolock the cylinder then use the "whollop" method... may have to resort to that.

If you wanted to you could bring it to a shop and they could break it loose for you and re-tighten it enough so you can get back home.

you can go under the motor through the tranny where the opening is with a flat headed screw driver.. then hit it with the impact.. You'll be able to see the flywheel and there is a little opening underneath.. check it out.. I did this on mine...

just put a impact on it it will come right loose i have yet to find a crank pulley bolt that can defeat that method

Well like i said earlier, we did try that already, i took it to a muffler shop not even a 1/4 miles from my house, he tried 2 or 3 times and it didnt budge...!! then i tried binding the engine and using my breaker bar and a cheater pipe, nothing! I have a friend in a nearby town who has a metal fabrication shop who said we can re-try the impact method there he has a few different impact wrenches.. so at this point i am becoming concerned!

this person is RIGHT TRUST ME IVE DONE 10 TIMEING BELTS ESAY WITH THE CHAIN WRENCH AND A BRAKER BAR WORKS MINT EVRY TIME THE CHAIN WRENCH AROUND THE BLANCER THEN WHEN U CRANK ON IT IT WIL SPIN INTO THE MOTOR MOUNT AND WILL HOLD THE MOTOR FROM TURING OVER THEN THAT BOLT WILL POP AND BE LOSE... (WHEN U TAKE THE BLANCER OFF DONT LOSE THE KEY WAY VERY SMALL) AND IMPORTANT...

Put the car in 5th gear. Then either have someone hold the brakes or jam a screw driver in both front rotor vanes against the caliper.

You'll probably still need an impact, however.

OK, tried the impact method again today, at a different place, still nothing it would not budge, whoever said they used impacts several times with good luck must have used 'super' impacts from the planet krypton..

get your self a 2 foot length of 2x4 and you turn it sideways like its a sword, and you whack the **** out of that crank bolt till it comes out.
