Removing climate control
Use a large flat head to pry the defroster button and hazard light button straight out. Try not to break them... or go to your
dealership ahead of time like me and get new ones so it doesn't matter. Then remove the screws behind them with a Philips. This is where I get stuck... all the wires and temp controls do not permit me to get the console out. I got it out of the vents, but was stuck their.... Does anyone have any pictures?

Climate control sucks *** to take out. Having said that, do what Pb_foot said and then to get it fully out, you'll need to disconnect the cable that controls that temperature, which is black with a wire sticking out of it. You can see it lying on your back on the passenger side. It's the one that moves when you move the temp slider.
Next is the harness which is held into place by a clip that you'll have to release so the controls can slide out. This is pretty hard to describe, but is seen best with the radio out.
I'd take pics as mine is out right now but I have no digital camera.

Those instructions that have been posted are pretty through. The main problem will be unfastening the harness so that the climate control can be pulled out. If you pull out your radio you'll see what harness needs to be unfastened when you tug on the climate controls.

So this is how you fix the light bulb problem? My light goes on and off sometimes. I think there is a short somewhere behind there. Anyone else got this problem?

This is the easiest way I found after taking apart at least 3 center consoles for the G3 tegs. After getting the whole vent/climate control assembly loose so that it jiggles free. Go underneath the passenger side dash. Follow the cable that connects to the temperature slider setting on the climate control to what looks like the heater box. Disconnect this first on the heater box side before trying to pull the the whole vent/climate control assembly off the dash. Once this wire is off, it'll give you the additional room you need to pull off the wiring harnesses connected to the climate control. Just make sure that when you re-install it, that the lenght of the cable is the right corresponding setting to the temperature slider on the climate control or else you wont be able to slide it to full heat or full cold.
