never go from 1st to 2nd and rev the **** out of the engine then drop clutch as will get wasted, if you do really bad you can smell a burning rubber smell, from exprience

yea chirping the tires really doesnt mean ****, in my bone stock 92 ls i just put on the road, brand new tires all the way around, i can light up second and chirp 3rd, but why drive like an ***? it wastes gas, gas is money..........and getting pulled over for *** hat driving sucks

Shifting from 1st to 2nd gear......i tried it today, the first run i let off the gas just a lil bit, i chirped pretty good...felt strong

The second time i shifted from 1st to 2nd gear, i totally let go of the gas, it shifted good, but no chirp, and it seemed like there was a much bigger delay and the car felt slower...

So the correct way to shift while runnin in a 1/4 is to let off the gas a lil bit? correct?
