Default Question on rear coilover install

the rear bolts to take out on the lca aren't budging, i'm using at least 200 psi and a 300 lb ft trqe impact gun.. they turn about a quarter then stops and no movement beyond that? do u know y? what can i do to remove them, thanks asap..

Can you take a pic of the exact one? Also, try to soak the threads\nut with WD40 or some kind of penetrating spray.

WD-40 it. if it doesn't it might be stripping the threads. so don't put too much force on it.

torch that sucka....

i've always found that a propane torch does wonders for stuck bolts

well hopefully you dont have the same problem that i had on both my integras...the bolts had froze in the control arm bushings where i eventually broke the heads off the bolts where i then had to cut the control arms out and replace the bushings and get new bolts...
anyways just try the wd-40 and with the impact gun try goin back and forth tightening and loosing the bolt

i have never took an impact to my car. I always use a breaker bar and slowly crack the bolt loose. go to the store and buy some PB blaster, soak then attack slowy, you dont want that impact to break the head off the bolt, then you will really be SOL.

well atcually slowly turning it usually breaks the head off

i've found that impact (quick continous blows) does a better job

if it moves a quater turn and moves back chances are its the bushing.

i was thinking it's my bushing too..because i see the bushing spin sligtly with the bolt. and i put a lot of pb blaster too..
