stupid rear lower control arm bolts...ugh!
has anyone ever successfully removed these bolts after breaking the head off of them. ive only ever took one out successfully. i was going to pull a rear disc swap off a car at the salvage yard but ofcourse they snapped! i even tried threatening the bolts before i put the wrench on them.

cut the bolts on the otherside, replace bushings the bolts are seized in. Drill out pieces in welded nuts or cut nuts off and just use a regular nut.

yeah i cut the bolts off. if they dont come off with the impact then up comes my cut off wheel
never takes me more than 5 minutes.
they get crushed inside the bushing, I mean the bolt goes from round to square.

^^that. but i also was replacing the whole LCA so i didn't care about cutting through the bushing as much.
so buy a couple new bushings cut em up with a dremel or sawzall. then bring em to a shop and let them deal with the bushings.

I didn't break a single one lowering my 1991 EF sedan
but that's because I think ahead and drench them with PB blast everyday for a week and drive it

the two outer bolts are m10x1.25mm 80mm long and the middle (shock bolt) is m10x1.25mm 84mm long. i suggest going to your local hardware store and getting some high quality replacements. The dealer charges $6-10 per bolt
