Please someone help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a 97 Acura integra LS and when I start hitting the break (mainly holding the brake at a stop) something in the engine starts to rattle like a peice of metal clancking around. Only happens at the stop and the car must be in drive and in gear. When I shift to neutral, it stops, but once I go back into gear, the rattle will start again. Please any information will help. Thank You.

If the whole car is vibrating then its your motor mounts (or just one mount)
My friends teg does that. If its just a rattle, check the shield like someone suggested.

now that is read it again it does sound like you might have broken a mount the one located in the timing belt area makes a mean rattle at idle when broken the tranny one breaks a lot too. drive the car, put in the the second gear selector thing and drive to like 5000 rpms then let off the gas and see if it rattles. a rattle hear should defenitly have you looking for broken mounts or loose bolts in the frame (crossmember if applicaple, rack and pinion, etc)
