Default Overheating question?

New to honda-tech, just wanted to ask for your opinion on a cooling problem.
the car is a 98 gsr with 130k, no mods. and sometimes, only sometimes the thermostat needle will start creeping up past halfway while idling. Never happens at night, and has only happened twice in the last two weeks with a one week duration between instances out of driving it every single day, for two weeks straight. The fan switch sensor seems to work fine, flushed coolant and changed thermostat. Water pump was changed out recently as well, but was done by previous owner. Could it be a faulty water pump if it's not OEM? Does anyone know how its supposed to sound or look if there is a problem with a water pump aside from water/coolant leaking out from the bottom?

On the days that the temperature started creeping towards H was on pretty hot days if that helps. Also, can anyone tell me how many gallons their integra holds? mine seems to only hold less than 10 gallons? which seems abnormally small??
