Default overheating help :(

i drive a four door ls and the other day on the freeway my car started overheating, pulled over and pushed it to a friends filled radiator up with water...then drove it back home to find out the top hose was split...so i replaced it...replaced the coolant and filled up the reservoir...drove around made a few little out of town trips until yesterday overheating again...i squeezed the hose and coolant came out from where the hose connects to the motor...what could it be? no leaks or anything on the radiator and the fan works...

bleed it out like ruben said, is there a leak? when the car over heats is the water in the reservoir boiling like crazy? my ls was doing this a week after i bought it- i got pissed, i was ready to fork out the cash to replace all the lines, water pump, everything- buddy saw that the radiator cap was bad and not holding down the pressure so it would slowly escape out of the sides. its worth a try

make sure that hose is on the motor tight... then bleed all the air out of the lines... if this doesnt solve the problem check the fans and the all the sensors... if they are all functioning properly then you probably need a new water pump

That... just the fact you had to FILL UP your radiator means your losing coolant make sure everything is tight, secure, and not leaking whether you push on a hose or not.

Fill it up, bleed, then fill again if needed.

Coolant is escaping which means air is entering and air doesn't cool very well.
