ok so i know this is posted before cause i jsut read it
but i have a question, if your oil pressure sending unit os bad, will that cause your car to run weak, and have vtec kick in half ***? mine flashes randomly and ive noticed its pretty slow for being a gsr vtec oesnt crack very good.
i jsut want an answer to my question

Have you checked the pressure manually, or is this just a guess? I would seriously consider not driving the car until you figure out what's wrong. It only takes a second to spin a bearing. If your oil pressure is low, vtec can't kick in,but that's the least of your problems.

never checked it manually i just know my oil is full and usually blinking means oil pressure, plus vtec barely cracks and thats usually a sign of low oil presuure
im not driving it right now cause the dizzy is fucked anyways
but i need to check oil pressure, do you know whatit should be?

Should be 55psi at 5500rpm at the vtec solenoid test port. I think it's lower at idle, but you should check the repair manual, as I don't know off the top of my head. How many miles does the car have? it could be the oil pump too. Check the sensor though, it could be the problem. Does your car tap when the light is on?

no tapping and the oil seems to be pumping fine cause if i check it cold then run it for a few minutes the dipstick reads lower. i think its the sending unit. im taking my car to a honda guru and letting him fix everything so it will run good
