OBD2 o2 sensor problems
My car (98 GSR) started to throw these two codes:
P0138 - O2 sensor circuit high bolts (bank 1 sensor 2)
P0136 - o2 sensor circuit malfunction ( bank 1 sensor 2)
So I replaced the secondary o2 with a Bosch one from the auto parts store. I bought one of the ones you wire up yourself to work. Upon startin the car, the two original codes were gone but it threw a code for secondary o2 heater malfunction. Just to be sure that it wasn't bullshittin me, I cleared the code but it came right back a few minutes later. I read the diagram correct but I was wondering if it will make a difference if the two same colored o2 heater wires were mismatched. There isn't really a way to tell because they are the same color. Anyone else have an idea on this or maybe a different solution? Hell, even to maybe just get rid of the second o2 all together or something but this CEL is killin me. Thank you.

ngk makes a secondary o2 that retails around 120, you could also run a jdm ecu which does not use this sensor, its plug and play.
that code does not retard timing so its annoying to look at buy doesn;t effect how the car runs, mpg or hp
i would save till you can afford a real one. the only reason you;ll need it is emissions and any bypass will not work when you get your car smoged
