Default obd-1 swap single cam into obd2a integra question

have a obd-1 sohc vtec swap, putting it into a 97 LS. i know the harness will plug and play, but can i plug the obd1 ecu into the harness inside the car? or do i have to run somethen obd2 ? or go with a harness adapter?

don't care if you lagh at the thought of a single cam in an integra, it makes the car run right now and thats all that matters to me for the time being...

anyone know what i need to do?

yes using 92-95 civic stock d series mounts.
you need an obd2-obd1 jumper.

thanks guys, yeah my buddy ran a y7 w/ si tranny all obd1 including the gsr shell. had the si intake mani i think and a header. got a 16.8 out of it. it was just so he could pass emissions to lic. the car. ever since i kept that idea as a back up plan if i needed to make a shell run. as of now i have a 97' LS that i'm put'n a single slam in to make her run. wouldn't waste my time if i wasn't so broke lol.. i'll throw pics up once it's runn'n just for people to see and wonder why...

Plenty of local shops that carry jumpers Chris.... jdmshit.com also carries them for cheap.

need OBD2a jumper to OBD1 fyi, not OBD2b so there is no confusion

And to who said a lot of empty space, did you see a radiator in there yet? nope.

You put a SOHC in a INTEGRA??? Geez, thats ballzy. Didn't you have to swap over all the b series axles and tranny and all that **** to D? You should've spent like 500 bucks for a full B20 swap and dropped that in. Cheap and better than a SOHC. I head stories about people puttin in singles and not bein able to get up hills good at all cuz of the weight of an integra.

Depending on the models of the civic and Integra you are comparing (hatchback vs sedan/sedan vs coupe/etc) the difference is rarely over a couple hundred pounds, if even that much.

True, but still a single cam? If you plan on boosting it those little bastards can take pounds, but its like i said a b20 wouldve been cheaper.

You would be surprised of the power you can pull out of a single cam.... Everything depends on your set-up.... B Series or D Series, there is no right or wrong way to go really.... just personal preference.

Is that a serious question? Not talkin ****, but you think a b series tranny bolts up to a d series?? Maybe w/ an adapter, but no need for this application....

all you guys are funny, i bought this car as a shell. i'm not rich, nor have a trust fund so i'm doing the build the only way i can right now. wich is a shitty d15b7 single cam. But, the cool thing is, in my town we have a few honda tuners. not gay body kit honda guys. like real turb/na tuners that make **** fast that last. so i'm gonna throw a 14b mitsu turbo on this **** and boost 9 lbs. will be tuned on a p75 with chrome. when the ball gets roll'n i'll be do'n a full write up on this weird setup that few have done around here. i could really care less if a b20 is cheaper. maybe where your at, i'm all about whats for sale cheap around me as of now. have only had it two weeks, have the complete swap in just needs a jumper harness, have the whole interior in "gray" gsr leather. now i'm just search'n out some sick wheels. since this whole project is kinda weird might do some crazy color wheels like the green rotas or somethen... and yeah to all that wonder. single cam drops right in with all the civic ****. linkage, mounts. harness plugs right in.. thats prolly why its so easy to throw an ls into a civic??? strange.. any ways, i'll have pics soon.. peace
