No start issues please help :(
Hello members I have a question and any input would be appreciated !
I have a 96 integra ls boosted running into no starting issues . This problem just started happening yesterday . I pulled into the grocery store as soon as I parked my car just died on me, went to try and start it and all she does is crank like it's getting no fuel at all , so I got the car home, checked all the fuses and they are fine nothing is blown . Both under the hood fuse box and under the dash and they are all good, tried a friend's main relay and a brand new main relay and still cannot hear the fuel pump prime (it's a walbro 255) took the fuel pump out and hooked it to a battery and the fuel pump kicks in when hooked directly to a battery which I got a mouth full of e85 while I did this haha , I went to jump the jumper harness and no codes at all, I noticed last night with the key on the on position the cel stays solid and does not go off , tried to jump the jumper harness again to see if maybe I just had a bad connection with the paperclip I was using and all of a sudden the cel goes off after about 2 min of the key being on and then the fuel pump primed and the car was able to start . Tried this about 6 times and all were successful, tried the 7th time and I'm back to square 1 , I'm totally mind boggled , would an ignition switch give someone the same symptoms as what I'm having or is it going to be a wiring issue ?
Thanks
Thomas

You need to test the wiring to the PGM-FI Main Relay
Start with the black ground lead, it must have full continuity to chassis ground, if not, [even if it does] redo the thermostat ground(s), disconnect/clean/reconnect.
Then check for powers, there are 3 of them, a 12V constant, yellow/white [hot at all times] a 12V switched, black/yellow [hot in run and start] and a 2nd 12V switched, blue/white [hot when cranking to start only], do the testing with the PGM-FI Main Relay unplugged.
If all is good, the problem is most likely the ECU/ECM, not supplying the fuel pump relay with a ground, green/blue, you can test this by plugging the relay in and using a jumper to supply the ground to the green/blue.
If grounding the green/blue turns on the fuel pump, check for power on IGP1 and IGP2 at the ECU/ECM, they are the only 2 yellow/black leads going to the ECU/ECM. 94
