Need some help BAD, was doing a compression test and......
The adapter that comes with it is stuck in my cylinder head. Any ideas how to get it out? I bought the tester from AutoZone, it came with a gauge, hose, and then the adapter - My friend and I connected the adapter not knowing we didn't have to and it got stuck. I'm hoping we're not the only people out there that have gone through this so if anybody out there has some answers, please help!! The adapter is still threaded, but we can't get it out the same way we got it in (the hose)...
How hard did you get it in there?! Have you tried pliers on the hose? Even if you wreck the hose getting it out, it's only $30. Haveing someone else do it will cost you at least that much.
Are the threads inside the adapter crossthreaded? Just be careful, you REALLY DON'T want to strip the threads on the head.
haah my friend did this on his car, i went over, took off his valve cover, which allowed me to get a better angle w/ needle nose....and volia....it came off.....just be patient...
