Well I was setting in a drivethur and out of no where my check engine light came on. So i did the self diagnostics and its giving me code 90 which is : Evaporative Emission Control System leak detected in the fuel tank area.
Whats is this, and how can I fix this. Also am I putting my car in any danger by driving it with it throwing this code. Thanks

 

no danger, check your gas cap, make sure its on all the way.

do you top off your tank when your at the pumps? if so, do not do this.

do you leave your car running at the gas pump? dont do this
